we now must acknowledge the tremendous support and encouragement that we received from Amvets Commander Jeff Sharp and his right hand man Maurice Arguelles.  True patriots both, they have contributed so much to veterans issues and causes that once again, I do not have the paper to list their endeavors. The "Marching Through History" team led by the "Gunny," Cornell and his band of reenactors did a spectacular job with the military displays for "show and tell" for education day at the "Moving Wall Experience."  The students from surrounding High Schools got a first hand education on equipment, uniforms and materials used during the Vietnam War. We are truly indebted to Jeff and Maurice for their support for the "Moving Wall Experience" but more so, for their continued support for veterans issues and keeping the service and sacrifice of veterans at the mainfront with the civilian community. They have forged a bond of brotherhood and understanding between the veterans and the citizens of our community and the education of our young students with the "Walk of Honor," school visits, ceremonial events at schools and the ongoing restoration of the "blimp hangar" at Tustin for the "Marching Through History" museum, to name just a few. You gentleman are to be congratulated for your dedication to keeping alive the tremendous service and sacrifice of our citizen soldiers and for the tremendous educational programs that you have encouraged and implemented within all of Orange County. Your initiatives and implementation programs taking care of veterans in need is second to none and speaks of your love of God, Country, and Corps. Semper Fi and God Bless You for all that you do for veterans, the Community, and our young students.
