CALIFORNIA STATE COUNCIL
QUARTERLY MEETING
June 7-9, 2024
Friday, Saturday and Sunday

This meeting will be the regular weekend meeting along with CSC elections. All Officer and Board positions are up for election. Self nomination is in order and there is a nomination form link at the bottom of this page.
Friday June 7, is a travel day to the Wyndham Visalia. The CSC Board of Directors Meeting will be at 5:00 p.m. in the Laurel Room.
Saturday June 8, is the full California State Council meeting that starts at 9:00 a.m. in the Oak Room. CSC elections will take place on Saturday. No delegates. The Chapter representative will have one vote. One chapter, one vote. AVVA will hold their meeting on Saturday afternoon. In the afternoon there will be the CSC committee meetings. Those meetings will be in the Maple, Birch and Laurel rooms. The State Council will buy a buffet dinner for all attendees (Including spouses and AVVA) who have sent in a reservation for the Saturday night buffet in the Plaza room. You must RSVP with the names of people you have coming with you by May 24, 2024.

Sunday June 9 at 9:00 a.m., the reconvened full California State Council Meeting in the Oak Room with committee reports. The meeting will adjourn at 10:00 a.m. for your travel home. It will be a full fast-paced weekend full of information and camaraderie which will help veterans and their families in your communities.
When you call the Wyndham Visalia call 559-651-5000. Please only use that phone number and the Group Code Vietnam Vets to ensure your correct pricing ($99+tax) so that CSC can get proper credit toward our room guarantee (35 rooms a night) and you get the room you want. Then fill out the meeting registration form at meeting web page and that information will go to Dick Southern.
After you have made your hotel reservations please go to the meeting web page and register for this meeting. If you registered for the hotel in October for the January meeting still go to the page and register for the meeting and the buffets.
May 17, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. is the cutoff day and time for the hotel. Make your hotel reservation before then.

Also, if you are doing a drawing that uses ticket sales, we must also know that in advance and not just the night before. Deadline is May 17, 2024. Again, there are no exceptions!
The California State Council will pay $500 for the non-HGDP chapter representative that answers the roll call on both meeting days and $200 to the second chapter rep that answers the roll call on both meeting days.
