Friday, January 9, is a travel day to the Wyndham Visalia. The CSC Board of Directors Meeting will be at 5:00 p.m. in the Laurel Room.
Something new!
We are adding another new feature to the meeting—a continental breakfast on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.

The California State Council meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, in the Oak Room. AVVA will hold its meeting in the afternoon. The CSC committee meetings will be in the afternoon in the Maple, Birch, and Laurel rooms.

The State Council will provide lunch for all attendees on Saturday, featuring the Deli Style Buffet.
California Field of Greens Salad. Pasta Salad with Herbed Vinaigrette Dressing. Assortment of Sliced Roast Beef, Smoked Ham, Roasted Turkey Breast. Sliced Swiss, American, Cheddar, and Monterey Jack Cheeses. Tomatoes, Lettuce, Shaved Onion, Pickles, assorted Condiments, and assorted Deli breads. To ensure we cater to your needs, RSVP with the names of people coming with you by December 19, 2025.
The State Council will provide a buffet dinner for all attendees on Saturday night in the Plaza room. This meal includes a variety of delicious dishes such as Pork Ribs (BBQ sauce on the side), BBQ Chicken Thighs (BBQ sauce on the side), Sliced Melon, Traditional Cole Slaw, Home-style Potato Salad, Cornbread Muffins, Ranch Beans, and Corn on the Cob. You'll need to RSVP with the names of people coming with you by December 19, 2025
Sunday, Jauary 11, at 8:00 a.m. The State Council will provide a buffet breakfast for all attendees (including spouses and AVVA) who have sent in a reservation for breakfast in the Plaza room. You'll need to RSVP with the names of people coming with you by December 19, 2025.
On Sunday, January 11, at 9:00 a.m., President Orlemann will reconvene the full California State Council Meeting in the Oak Room with committee reports. The meeting will adjourn at 10:00 a.m. for your travel home. It will be a fast-paced weekend full of information and camaraderie that will significantly contribute to the well-being of veterans and their families in your communities.
When you call the Wyndham Visalia, call 559-651-5000. Please use only the phone number and Group Code Vietnam Vets to ensure correct pricing ($99+tax). This will allow CSC to receive proper credit toward our room guarantee (35 rooms a night) and help you secure the room you want. After you have made your hotel reservations, please go to the meeting web page http://www.vvacalsc.com/meeting.html and register for this meeting. If you registered with the hotel in October for the January meeting, you can use http://www.vacalsc.com/meeting.html and register for the meeting and the food events.
The cutoff day and time for the hotel is December 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., so make your hotel reservation before then. Please don't worry, we have secured 35 rooms a night for our event so that you can book confidently.

Could you let us know in advance if you plan to use ticket sales for a drawing, not just the night before? The deadline for this notification is December 12, 2025. Early notification is key to ensuring a smooth and successful event.
The California State Council will pay $500 to the non-household goods chapter, whose delegate answers the roll call on both meeting days, and $250 to the second non-household goods chapter delegate, who answers the roll call on both days. Your active participation is crucial for the fair distribution of these funds.
