Thursday, April 17, is a travel day to the Wyndham Visalia. The CSC Board of Directors Meeting will be at 5:00 p.m. in the Laurel Room.

The California State Council meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, in the Oak Room. AVVA will hold its meeting in the afternoon. The CSC committee meetings will be in the afternoon in the Maple, Birch, and Laurel rooms.

The State Council will provide a buffet dinner for all attendees in the Plaza room on Friday night. This meal includes a variety of delicious dishes such as carved Tri-tip (BBQ sauce on the side), BBQ Chicken Thighs, Sliced melon, Traditional coleslaw, Home-style potato salad, cornbread muffins, Ranch Beans, and Corn on the Cob. To make sure we cater to your needs, RSVP with the names of the people coming with you by April 4, 2025.

Saturday, April 19, at 8:00 a.m. The State Council will provide a buffet breakfast for all attendees (including spouses and AVVA) who have sent in a reservation for breakfast in the Plaza room. Please RSVP with the names of the people coming with you by April 4, 2025.

On Saturday, April 19, at 9:00 a.m., President Orlemann will reconvene the entire California State Council Meeting in the Oak Room with committee reports. The meeting will adjourn at 10:00 a.m. for your travel home. It will be a fast-paced weekend full of information and camaraderie that will significantly contribute to the well-being of veterans and their families in your communities.

When you call the Wyndham Visalia, call 559-651-5000. Please only use that phone number and the Group Code Vietnam Vets to ensure your correct pricing ($99+tax) so that CSC can get proper credit toward our room guarantee (35 rooms a night) and you get the room you want. Then fill out the meeting registration form on the meeting web page http://www.vvacalsc.com/meeting.html and that information will go to Dick Southern.

After you have made your hotel reservations, please go to the meeting web page http://www.vvacalsc.com/meeting.html and register for this meeting. If you registered for the hotel in February for the April meeting, you can still go to the page http://www.vacalsc.com/meeting.htmand register for the meeting and the buffets.

The cutoff day and time for the hotel is March 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., so make your hotel reservation before then. Please don't worry; we have secured 35 rooms a night for our event so that you can book confidently.

Could you let us know beforehand if you plan a drawing that uses ticket sales, not just the night before? The deadline for this notification is March 28, 2025. Early notification is key to ensuring a smooth and successful event.

The California State Council will pay $500 to the non-household goods chapter, which answers the roll call on both meeting days, and $200 to the second non-household goods chapter, which answers the roll call on both days. Your active participation is crucial for the fair distribution of these funds.
