MIA Update: The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced one burial update for a service member who has been missing and unaccounted for from World War II. Returning home for burial with full military honors is:

--Army Staff Sgt. Woodrow F. Gerdes, 31, of St. Louis, Missouri, was assigned to Company K, 3rd Battalion, 110th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division. He was reported missing in action on Nov. 9, 1944. He will be buried in his hometown on a date to be determined.
