2011 ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE INVITATION

You’re invited to participate in The 15th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Old Sacramento on Saturday, March 12, 2011.

The parade will begin forming at 11:00 a.m. on 2nd Street between Neasham Circle & O Street and will step off from 2nd & L Street promptly at 1:00 p.m. as it proceeds throughout the historic district. (Same route as last year.)

Due to the economy and lack of lead planning time, the historic district will not host the festival portion of the event this year. We hope to see the return of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in 2012.

2011 PARADE ROUTE
Parade steps off from 2nd Street & L Street (in Old Sacramento)
Heads North on 2nd Street to J Street
Left (West) on J Street to Front Street
Left (South) on Front Street
Pass the reviewing stand on Front & K Streets (in front of the Delta King)
Left (East) on L Street
Right (South) on 2nd Street back to the staging area to disband

All Old Sacramento streets will be closed to traffic from Noon to 3:00 p.m., as over 10,000 people are expected to line the streets and Gold-rush era wooden boardwalks to enjoy the festivities.

The reviewing stand will continue to be located at the intersection of Front & K Streets and for the second straight year, the reviewing stand will be located on your right-hand side. Please plan accordingly.

NOTHING may be thrown or tossed out to or at the crowd. Any violation of this rule will result in the participant and their organization being responsible for damages.
