GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER ISSUES HOLIDAY MESSAGE TO CALIFORNIA VETERANS
 

To all California veterans:

On behalf of all Californians, we would like to wish you and your families a happy and safe holiday season.

We are deeply grateful for your sacrifice and service to our state and nation.  The love and dedication you have shown our country is a gift and blessing we are all fortunate to have received.

As we celebrate the holiday season this year, we would like all of you to know you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.  It is with tremendous honor and pride that we call ourselves Americans, and it is because of veterans like you, that all of us are able to live freely in the greatest country in the world.

We must also keep in our hearts those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.  These brave men and women gave their all, and will be remembered forever for their courage and patriotism.

Please accept our wishes for a healthy and prosperous holiday season and a joyous New Year.
