Name of Lunchtime Seminar: How to Transition from Military Service to State Service

Description of seminar: This seminar covers the civil service hiring process, which includes how to transfer your Military experience into State experience, a review of the wide array of careers the State has to offer, Veteran laws that pertain to state service, interpreting minimum qualifications, how to take an examination, how to apply for vacancies, and resume development. Each month’s presentation will include a guest Veteran speaker who has transitioned from Military Service to State Service.
