The Vietnam War Through the Eyes of Surfers

#1 Postby tyrol » Sun May 11, 2008 3:45 pm

Hi,

Narrated by JOHN MILIUS (Apocalypse Now – Big Wednesday), BETWEEN THE LINES is a documentary film that explores the Vietnam War through the prism of the surfing sub-culture. The film offers unique insight into the dramatic effect that the Vietnam War and draft had on young American men who rode waves.

Several screenings are scheduled in different cities throughout the summer, all of which will benefit Veterans Charities. The first of these events will take place on June 26, 2008, at Hansen Surfboards in Encinitas, California. Hansens can be contacted at (800) 480-4754.

A 170 page limited edition coffee table book, also entitled, BETWEEN THE LINES, will be available at these events for 39.95.

I believe your members will find this documentary film and book interesting and relevant. I would appreciate your time to pass this information to your members. Further details, information about other shows and an online press kit can be found at http://betweenthelinesfilm.com/

Thank you very much,

Ty Ponder
